The Peace and Friendship Stadium is being included in another European program. Specifically, SEF stadium will participate in the European Horizon project under the name SAFEGUARD. This project aims to enhance security at mass sports events and stadiums through improved safety measures.
The goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment for athletes, spectators, and staff involved in sports activities, while simultaneously addressing public safety challenges and reducing the likelihood of security threats. The application for the project was submitted today to the European Commission.
